Tel Aviv: Lebanon’s terrorist wing Hezbollah on Tuesday claimed that it launched several rockets targeting Israel’s intelligence wing Mossad base near Tel Aviv. Hezbollah said it fired missiles at the headquarters of Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency and at a military intelligence unit on the outskirts of Tel Aviv, today.
Hezbollah said it had used new Fadi 4 missiles to attack the Tel Aviv headquarters of Mossad and the Glilot military base, where the army’s 8200 intelligence unit is headquartered on the outskirts of the Israeli city.
This comes days after Israel targeted Hezbollah headquarters, killing its chief Hassan Nasrallah who was hiding in a bunker beneath a building.
Israel had used an 80-ton – 900 kilogram bomb – ‘bunker buster’ which suffocated Nasrallah to death.
Speaking to the development, Israeli defence forces said that Hezbollah is upset that the IDF exposed their plans to massacre Israelis, so they decided to target innocent civilians by firing a barrage of rockets.
