Hyderabad: A real estate salesman and his aide sexually assaulted and raped a woman in Miyapur area of the city after spiking her cold drink, Tv9 telugu reported. The two men have been arrested, police said.
The accused men reportedly took the young woman in a car for a land site visit in Yadagirigutta and while coming back from the visit, they stopped at an under construction building and claimed that the car broke down. Later, they spiked her drink and raped her, police said on Wednesday.
In her complaint, the woman said that the men stripped her and assaulted her till early morning.
“The victim was raped after being drugged and the two accused raped the victim for three hours. The unconscious victim was dropped at the hostel at 3 am in the morning and fled from the scene. Cases have been registered under IPC sections 376 (rape) ,323 (voluntarily causing hurt) ,509 (insulting modesty of woman) ,420 (cheating),” Miyapur Circle Inspector said.
The accused identified as Janardhan and Sanga Reddy were arrested and remanded to jail, the CI said.
12-year-old minor gang raped:
In recent times, a 10-member gang was arrested for raping and impregnating a 12-year-old minor girl after spiking her drink with drugs. The gang abducted her from Kacheguda area of Hyderabad and raped her near Neredmet area.
The gang included men between the ages of 22 and 30 and they were identified as C Naresh, S Vijay Kumar, G Krishna, T Kiran Kumar, James Xavior, V Deepak, S Hathya Naik, V Balaji, B Ajay, I Madhu.
