Thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds (30-40 kmph) is very likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Komarambheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sirisilla, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Siddipet, Medak, Kamareddy districts of Telangana on August 4, 5, as per weather department.
Maximum and minimum temperature is likely to be around 32 and 25 degrees Celsius.
Over the last 24 hours, rain lashed North and Eastern Telangana districts and heavy rain is expected in the next 48 hours, Independent weather expert T Balaji said. Scattered rain is in store for South Telangana, he said.
In Andhra Pradesh, thunderstorms accompanied with lightning is likely in some places over North coastal AP, Yanam, South coastal AP, Rayalaseema.
Kerala landslide death toll rises:
Meanwhile, the death toll in Wayanad, Kerala landslide rose to 276 as the entire settlement of Mundakkai was obliterated. Toll is expected to rise as rescuers continue to sift through the debris.More than 200 are injured while 227 people are still missing.
