New Delhi: After the dates and venue for the Indian Premier League 2025 mega auction were finalised, on Friday, the final time and list of players for the two-day mega event was also finalised and announced. The IPL auction will take place on November 24 and 25 in Jeddah at 3 PM IST. The coverage for the mega event will begin at 1 PM while the auction will start couple of hours later.
A total of 574 players will participate in the auction, out of which 366 are India and 208 being overseas players. Three players are from associate nations. The auction will also inlcude 318 Indian uncapped players and 12 overseas uncapped players. With 204 slots up for grabs, 70 are available for the overseas players. INR 2 crore is the highest reserve price with 81 players opting to be in the highest bracket.

England pacer James Anderson has been shortlisted for the IPL mega auction while Jofra Archer is not in the shortlist and Cameron Green has not registered for the event. Mallika Sagar is back as the auctioneer for the upcoming season. Star cricketers likes Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer, Jos Buttler and Arshdeep Singh headline the first set of players for the auction while Yuzvendra Chahal, Liam Livingstone, KL Rahul and Mohammed Shami are in the second set of players.
The oldest player in the IPL auction is England’s James Anderson at 42 years of age while the youngest player in the auction is Indian sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi, aged 13.
