New Delhi: WWE Bad Blood pay-per-view kicked off with a match between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk inside a Hell in a Cell. The fight lasted for half an hour of pure violence and Punk emerged as the winner. The battle was so bloody that McIntyre shared a glimpse of his after the fight on his social media.
McIntyre shared four photos on his social media, the first three pictures showed how heavily McIntyre was bleeding during the fight. The final picture showed the big cut on McIntyre’s head, 16 stitches were done on top of McIntyre’s head to close out the wound. The injury was caused after Punk hit McIntyre with a metal toolbox and immediately McIntyre started bleeding.
After the Bad Blood event, McIntyre was not present in the WWE RAW episode which sparked concerns among fans. There is some speculation about the future of McIntyre’s future in WWE. Some reports are claiming that he is leaving WWE and will try his luck on another promotion.
Some fans are claiming that McIntyre was injured and had many physical injuries after the match at Bad Blood. That is why, he took some break after the fiery fight against Punk. WWE was also not considering about McIntyre’s exit from the company.
McIntyre signed the agreement with WWE on a five-year deal and he is not leaving the company anytime soon. He might have taken some break from the sport as he was in a long-time rivalry with Punk and now has to move from Punk to his future matchups. It was a brilliant feud between both McIntyre and Punk.
Will Drew McIntyre move to Smackdown?
According to some rumors, Drew McIntyre will move from WWE RAW to Smackdown on his return but it is not confirmed yet. McIntyre will want to start a feud with someone in the red brand and Wade Barrett will be his expected next opponent after his return to WWE.
