On Sankashti Chaturthi, rise early in the morning.
It is important to worship Lord Ganesha properly and with devotion.

During the worship, offer fruits, flowers, and sweets to Lord Ganesha. Positive outcomes are believed to result from doing so.

What Not to Do on Krishnapingal Sankashti Chaturthi?

The presence of basil leaves in the worship of Lord Ganesha is prohibited, even though they are considered auspicious and represent Goddess Lakshmi.
Wearing black clothes during the worship of Lord Ganesha on Krishnapingal Sankashti Chaturthi is not recommended. Black clothing on this day is considered inauspicious and can negatively affect marital relations.
Women and elders should not be disrespected.
Don’t consume tamasic (non-vegetarian or spicy) foods.
