Leicester City part ways with manager Steve Cooper after just 12 games in charge of the Foxes

New Delhi: Leicester City have confirmed that they have parted ways with their manager, Steve Cooper, just five months into his tenure with the side. The termination comes after Leicester lost 2-1 to Chelsea in Saturday’s clash. Currently, the Foxes are in the 16th position in the Premier League table.

After just 12 games in charge of the side, the Welsh manager leaves the side with two victories in the season and two points above the relation zone. The former Nottingham boss was never a fan favourite after coming from the rival side of the club in June this year. Leicester City were promoted last season to the top flight of English football.

We have parted company with Steve Cooper, who leaves his position as First Team Manager with immediate effect.
