New Delhi: Liverpool’s Egyptian star, Mohammed Salah, is into his final six months of his current contract that is due to expire in June 2025. The winger joined the Reds in the summer of 2017 and has since gone on to become one of the best players the Premier League has ever seen. Ever since his debut for the club, he has been the club’s best player consistently and was a huge part of both, the UEFA Champions League and their Premier League wins under Jurgen Klopp.
He has started the current season on fire as well and recently starred in the club’s 2-0 win over Manchester City, by scoring one and assisting the other as Liverpool went nine points clear at the top. He equaled Premier League and Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney’s record of 36 games in which he has registered a goal and an assist in a single game. Clearly, he is showing that even at the age of 32, the Egyptian has still got it.

However, the club hasn’t yet acted on his expiring contract despite multiple public statements made by Salah in post match interviews, with the latest of them coming after their win over Manchester City last night. Salah said in an interview after the game that as things stand, he has played his last game against City at Anfield, indicating that there has been no progress on his contract situation from the club’s end.
Meanwhile, reputed French publication L’Equipe have linked the winger with a move to French giants Paris Saint Germain, who have reportedly been keeping tabs over his situation for a long while now. Salah had earlier been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League, with multiple clubs interested in bringing the Egyptian over to the middle east and reuniting him with former Liverpool teammates like Bobby Firmino, Sadio Mane and Fabinho.
Good chance that Mohammed Salah might join PSG?
