New Delhi: Marcus Rashford might fetch up to £60 million from Manchester United this summer, according to a report. After a public altercation with United head coach Ruben Amorim, Rashford joined Aston Villa on loan during the winter transfer window. He has so far enjoyed his time at Villa Park, contributing four assists in nine games for Unai Emery’s team. It’s unclear exactly what Villa and United agreed to. According to speculations, Villa may sign Rashford outright for £40 million at the end of the season, although neither club officially confirmed a possibility to make the move permanent in the summer.
Rashford’s price tag, according to recent reports in the English press, is £60 million. The Star adds that United has increased their expectations after witnessing their winger perform well in the Premier League once more. Amorim denied that the academy graduate will return to Old Trafford, therefore United will try to finalise a deal with Villa. The relationship between the two seems irreparable after they argued behind closed doors and Amorim openly admitted he was unhappy with Rashford’s work rate. In anticipation of a potentially very costly summer transfer window, the Red Devils are trying to gather as much money as they can.

Ruben Amorim’s plans for squad revamp
It seems like the Mancheter United and Marcus Rashford saga is finally coming to an end as the English forward looks more than happy at his new club Villa. Meanwhile, Amorim is already looking forward to adding a few new talents to United’s lacking squad. Although Amorim must wait for sales to be made before bringing in reinforcements, he is expected to lead a major team overhaul.
Targets have included Xavi Simons of RB Leipzig, Kenan Yildiz of Juventus, and Felix Nmecha of Borussia Dortmund, while Sean Longstaff of Newcastle United has once again been mentioned. In order to create a team more suited to Amorim’s tactical requirements, United is also looking to add players in a few defensive positions and has created a four-man striker shortlist.
Marcus Rashford so far has enjoyed a successful loan stint at Aston Villa, and a permanent trnasfer might just be a possibility. Manchester United have raised their asking price. Football Sports News: Latest Cricket News, Cricket Live Score, Sports Breaking News from Sports Today
