New Delhi: In a tragic incident, India’s double Olympic medallist Manu Bhaker’s maternal grandmother and maternal uncle died in a horrific road accident on Sunday, January 19. Bhaker’s uncle and grandmother were travelling on a scooter and the vehicle met with an accident with a car at the Mahendragarh Bypass Road in Haryana’s Charkhi Dadri.
It was reportedly a Brezza car that collided with the scooter. The impact of the collision was so severe that the car overturned on the road with the scooter getting stuck under it. The international shooter’s maternal grandmother and her uncle both died on the spot. The driver of the car fled away from the spot after the accident before the locals could arrive for help.
