The Dutch centre back will be joining the Red Devils for a fee of €45 million, with €5 Million in add-ons. De Ligt will sign a five-year contract with United that includes a one-year option to extend as his medicals remain pending as of now. By adding the 24-year-old Netherlands international, who also played for Ajax and Juventus, Erik ten Hag has bolstered his team with a very skilled and youthful defender.
De Ligt has proven himself as a solid defender for whichever team he has played for in the past and now it’s his chance to shine for another European giant. His re-union with coach Erik Ten Hag might turn out to be a major factor that leads United to glory yet again.

Bayern have also agreed to accept United’s offer of €15 million, plus €5 million in incentives for full-back Noussair Mazraoui as United had already begun the hunt for a new right back ever since West Ham started showing interest in Aaron Wan Bissaka. While negotiations over the duration of the deal are still underway, West Ham United and Manchester United have agreed on a £15 million price for Wan-Bissaka.

Additionally, Wan-Bissaka has to finalize his departure from Manchester United since the move is subjected to his departure from Old Trafford. Sunday or Monday is set aside for a medical at the east London side. Wan-Bissaka joined United in 2019 for an initial £45 million, and since then, he has made 190 appearances in the main squad.
