New Delhi: Benoit Saint-Denis suffered a devastating loss in his hometown France. Renato Moicano defeated Saint-Denis at the Accor Arena in Paris, France on September 29, Sunday. Moicano caught Saint-Denis in the ground and then it was just a top-class show from Moicano as he dominated in every position on the ground with his elbows, punches, and kicks. Saint-Denis had some positive moments in the fight but couldn’t capitalise on shots.

“It wasn’t my day, this sport is hard but incredible,” Saint-Denis wrote on Instagram.

“Respect to my opponent for facing me at home, and congratulations to Renato Moicano,” he concluded. “God tests us, and that’s nothing to compare with what I could experience.” Saint-Denis added.

Moicano dominated the second round as well and hit some combinations to Saint-Denis. He was pumped up in the fight and beat the hell out of Saint-Denis in the second round. After the second round, doctors came to see Denis and declared he was not fit to continue the fight in the third round.
