New Delhi: In a bizarre MMA fight in Romania, a referee intervened in the fight and knocked down the fighter in an MMA bout. It was the moment in the (Real Extreme Fighting) RXF when a strange fight booked in the main event as a 2 vs 1 bout. RXF is the largest MMA organisation in Romania and their event RXF Gala was scheduled on March 27.
Alexandru Bobicioiu was against two fighters Meci Cedy and Dustinel at the same time, In the opening round both Cedy and Dustinel paired up on Bobicioiu and took the advantage. Cedy was trying to submit Bobicioiu and at the same time, Dustinel was striking Bobicioiu.
The match got heated up when Dustinel struck the backside of Bobicioiu as it was listed that no fighter can hit from behind, with multiple warnings Dustinel didn’t stop then the referee, Yamato Zaharia had to intervene and throw a kick at him which sent him to the canvas.
Then security came in the octagon and Dustinel was removed by the officials in the brawl and the match then changed to one on one match between Bobicioiu and Cedy, Then Cedy quickly gave up in the match and the match got cancelled.

“I’m very disappointed because the fight wasn’t finished and there will probably be a replay of this match. I have to fight them. Dustinal was disqualified, Cedy abandoned, so clearly I had to win, not to cancel the match.” Bobicioiu after the match.
It was also suspected that Dustinel was in alcoholic condition and consumed drugs before the fight.
“I don’t know exactly if he was drunk or consumed substances, I have no idea, I don’t care, but so be it. [The referee] warned him twice and then disqualified him. Bobicioiu added.
