New Delhi: The high-profile India vs Pakistan clash is currently underway at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai in the ongoing Champions Trophy 2025 with millions watching from across the globe. The legendary MS Dhoni was also spotted watching the blockbuster game at a studio where he was present for an advertisement shoot ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.
Former India captain Dhoni was spotted watching the match alongside Bollywood actor Sunny Deol, who joined him on the sets. Dhoni was part of numerous India-Pakistan matches during his international career and led the Men in Blue to some memorable victories over the arch-rivals, including the 2007 T20 World Cup final and the 2011 ODI World Cup semi-final.

Despite having retired from international cricket in 2019, Dhoni continues to play for Chennai Super Kings in the IPL and remains a vital cog in their squad. Dhoni, who stepped down from CSK’s captaincy ahead of IPL 2024 last year, was retained by the franchise as an uncapped player for the upcoming IPL 2025 having already completed 5 years of international retirement.
Dhoni will be next seen in action for CSK in IPL 2025 where he will also reunite with his former India and CSK teammate R Ashwin. CSK have formed a string squad for the new season under skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad and will be hoping to claim a record sixth title in IPL 2025.
