India and Pakistan’s road to WCL 2024 final
The WCL 2024, which boasted six teams filled with mostly retired cricketers will finally end on Saturday with the India vs Pakistan battle. Pakistan were rampant in the group stage fixtures as they bagged four games in succession and faced a defeat at the hands of South Africa Champions. They got qualified for the semifinal where they faced West Indies Champions and thrashed them by 20 runs.
For India, the group stage fixtures remained dismal at par as they could just win the first two games and lost three successive games but somehow managed a semi-final berth. They took on the vintage might Australians and beat them by 86 runs to head into the final and book a spot against arch-rivals Pakistan.
India Champions and Pakistan Champions will face each other in the grand final of WCL 2024 and it promises to be a thrilling meet-up between the vintage stalwarts of the neighbouring arch-rivals nations.
