Washington: Tech billionaire Elon Musk stated on Sunday that former US President and Republican nominee Donald Trump must win the upcoming November election to protect America’s democracy on Monday
“Very few Americans realize that if Trump is NOT elected, this will be the last election,” Musk said in a post on the social platform X.
He further stated that Trump is not a threat to democracy but rather its only hope for preservation.
Musk presented a theory accusing Democrats of accelerating the process of granting citizenship to individuals who immigrated illegally to the U.S. He suggested that these new citizens would overwhelmingly support Democrats, leading to long-term political dominance by the party.
“Let me explain: if even 1 in 20 illegal immigrants become citizens each year, something Democrats are expediting as fast as possible, that would result in about 2 million new legal voters in four years,” Musk wrote. “The voting margin in swing states is often less than 20,000 votes. If the Democratic Party succeeds, there will be no more swing states!”
Musk, after endorsing Trump, also accused President Biden and Vice President Harris of flying asylum-seekers directly to swing states like Pennsylvania, Ohio, Wisconsin, and Arizona to manipulate electoral outcomes.
