Bo Nickal finally made his way to the UFC rankings as he entered the ranking as the new number 15 ranked fighter in the middleweight division. Before that, he was an unranked fighter in the division after winning seven consecutive fights in the UFC.
UFC pound-for-pound rankings
Islam Makhachev is still the number 1 pound-for-pound fighter in the UFC and UFC Heavyweight champion Jon Jones holds second position in the rankings. All champions from different divisions hold 1 to 7 positions in the rankings.
Tom Aspinall holds the highest ranking in the list despite not being champion in any division. But Aspinall is the number one ranked fighter in the heavyweight division.
Makhachev wants to move upwards in the weight division to challenge middleweight champion Dricus Du Plessis. If he wins another title in the UFC, then it will be impossible for another fighter to take his spot in the pound-for-pound rankings.
