New Delhi: More than three weeks are left for the much-awaited India vs Pakistan clash in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 but the buzz around the high-octane match has already started. Undoubtedly one the greatest battles in cricketing history, the entire cricketing world is waiting for the contest between the blues and the greens.
The Champions Trophy 2025 will kickstart on February 19 in Pakistan and India will play all their matches in Dubai. The India vs Pakistan clash will be played on February 23 with the Netflix documentary slated to be premiered on February 7. The documentary will showcase the intense rivalry that both the nations share on the cricketing field and also provide a glimpse into what actually a India vs Pakistan battle means.

The trailer of the documentary titled – The Greatest Rivalry: India vs Pakistan, starts with the visuals of jam-packed cricket stadiums during an India vs Pakistan match with millions of fans from both the countries displaying their emotions in the stands. One of the most destructive batters in world cricket, Virender Sehwag, provides the initial remarks declaring the contest as its ‘more than just a game’.
Legendary Pakistan players Shoaib Akhtar, Inzamam-ul-Haq, along with Indian counterparts Sourav Ganguly, Sunil Gavaskar and Shikhar Dhawan are also seen in the promo recalling the unheard stories of the of the fierce encounter over the years.

Meanwhile, due to the long-standing political tension between India and Pakistan, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) refused to send its team across the border which led to the International Cricket Council (ICC) picking Dubai as a neutral venue for all the India matches. The Men in Blue will begin their campaign on February 20 against Bangladesh and then play Pakistan three days later. India’s last league encounter is scheduled to take place on March 2 against New Zealand.
