He followed it up with an unbeaten 38 off just 27 deliveries in the second innings and shared a brilliant partnership with centurion Virat Kohli to help India post 487 runs on the board and set up a huge 295-run victory for the visitors.
The Andhra all-rounder continued his fine form with the bat in the 2nd Test in Adelaide where he finished as India’s top run-scorer in both innings with knocks of 42 runs apiece. Nitish has already amassed 163 runs in the first two matches while batting in the lower middle order and has left many impressed with his batting abilities and consistency.
