Fake passport websites flagged by MEA
The ministry of external affairs has identified several websites that entice gullible citizens into sharing their personal details with the promise of passport application. The MEA warned citizens that these websites should be avoided and members of the public should refrain from making payments on these portals. MEA urged citizens to visit its official website or apply for a passport via designated mPassport Seva apps downloadable from the Android Play Store and Apple App Store.
