New Delhi: Tamil Thalaivas defeated Bengal Warriorz by 46-31 in Match 57 of Pro Kabaddi League season 11 at the Noida Indoor Stadium, Noida on Saturday. Moein Shafaghi, Amir Hossein and Nitesh Kumar performed brilliantly and Vishal Chahal also scored a Super 10 the Thalaivas return to winning ways.
The defenders of both teams dictated terms in the initial few exchanges of this match. The two teams were going head-to-head against each other and gave very little away. But Vishwas S executed a stunning Raid and gave the Warriorz a four-point lead.
But the Thalaivas made a great comeback as Vishal Chahal inflicted a Super Raid and dismissed three players to put the Warriorz on the backfoot. The Tamil Thalaivas executed an All-Out and got a three-point lead.
Just when it looked like the Tamil Thalaivas would extend their lead further, the Bengal Warriorz came back strongly as Nitin Kumar scored a couple of quick points, while their defence also did a great job.
Tamil Thalaivas dominated the second half
The Tamil Thalaivas extended their lead to six points at the start of the second half. The lead further extended to ten points as Nitesh Kumar completed his High Five to inflict another All-out on the Bengal Warriorz.
Moein Shafaghi got a Super Raid of his own and eliminated three players from the Warriorz team, while Narender Kandola completed 500 Raid points in the league as the Tamil Thalaivas continued to dominate the match. Vishal Chahal also completed his Super 10 and helped his side to carry on their brilliant performace in the match.
Nitin Kumar and Vishwas S were the only two raiders who did a good job for the Warriorz but Tamil Thalaivas defence was on another level. Amir Hossein Bastami completed a High Five with consecutive Super Tackles, while Moein Shafaghi also scored a High 5. The Tamil Thalaivas eventually defeated the Bengal Warriorz by 46-31.
