New Delhi: Amad Diallo helped Manchester United snatch victory from the jaws of defeat tonight as his heroics saved the day for the Red Devils once again. With less than 10 minutes to go and the home side losing the game 1-0, Manchester United seemed to be headed close to the relegation zone and were sitting 15th in the league at one point during the match but Amad Diallo had his say.

His hattrick sees the club move out of the mid table muddle and move towards the top half of the table for the first time since Ruben Amorim’s arrival. However, things have gone from bad to worse for Southampton as they remain stuck on six points in the league and are rooted to the bottom of the league. They’re still win less since Ivan Juric’s arrival and seem destined to go straight back down to the Championship.

They aren’t the only newly promoted team staring at relegation though as they are joined by the other two promoted sides in the relegation zone as Ipswich moved back into 18th spot. Wolves’ loss to Newcastle on Wednesday night had pushed the Tractor Boys up to 17th on goal difference but a 2-0 loss to Brighton tonight has pushed them back into the relegation zone with Wolves replacing them on 17th.

The two sides are level on both points and goal difference but Kieran McKenna’s side have scored less number of goals than Wolves and that has placed them in the bottom three. Tonight as well, they failed to score at home and conceded two against Brighton in the second half courtesy Kaoru Mitoma and Georginio Rutter. The Seagulls moved up to ninth in the table as they broke their string of eight games without win tonight.
