New Delhi: La Liga champions FC Barcelona wrapped up their domestic treble-winning season with a comfortable 3-0 win over Athletic Club at the San Mamés Stadium in Bilbao on Sunday. Having already sealed their 28th league title with two games to spare, the Hansi Flick-men bid adieu to the Barca fans, gifting them an emphatic victory. Robert Lewandowski rose to the occasion as he scored a match-winning brace and even reached the 100-goal mark for the club.

It happened in the 14th minute itself as Lewandowski expertly chipped home goalkeeper Unai Simon after a superb through ball from Fermin Lopez to score the opener. Only three minutes later, he doubled the lead after arriving at the back post to head home following an inswinging corner from Raphinha. The two goals were his 27th in the league and 40th overall this season, coming off 51 appearances.

Dani Olmo, who featured as a substitute, took the score line to 3-0, sealing the victory from the penalty spot in the fourth minute of stoppage time. Barca finished their campaign with 88 points from 28 wins and four draws in 38 matches played. They finished four points clear of Real Madrid as Flick guided them to La Liga, Copa del Rey, and Spanish Super Cup titles in his first season of taking charge.
