SFA Championships 2024: Vignan Bo Tree School continues unbeaten run on Day 13

New Delhi: The landmark collaboration between News9’s football talent hunt programme, “Indian Tigers and Tigresses,” and Sports For All (SFA) has been making headlines at the ongoing SFA Championships 2024. Young superstars in Hyderabad continue to show massive interest in joining the sporting revolution on the biggest platform in the country.

TV9 Network recently partnered with SFA, one of the biggest grassroots sports development platforms in India, for the one-of-a-kind “Indian Tigers and Tigresses” campaign. The historic football campaign provides a golden opportunity to young boys and girls (age groups 12 to 14 and 15 to 17) across the country to showcase their talent.

The groundbreaking initiative of the TV9 Network has partnered with the best in the business including Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal, India Football Centre, IFI, BVB, and RIESPO among others, to spot the young talent in the country through a world-class scouting network. The winners will be felicitated in Germany in early 2025.

As the SFA Championships 2024 near their conclusion in Hyderabad, Day 13 was a day packed with nail-biting finals and high-stakes matches across handball, basketball, and kabaddi.

Vignan’s Bo Tree School continues dream run

As the SFA Championships 2024 inch closer to conclusion in Hyderabad, Day 13 was a day packed with nail-biting finals and high-stakes matches across handball, basketball, and kabaddi.

In handball at Gachibowli, Blue Blocks Complete School defeated Vignan Bo Tree School to claim gold in the Girls U-12 category, while Future Kids School took the top spot in the U-12 Boys. Vignan Bo Tree School secured wins in both U-14 Girls and Boys categories, while Neelkanth Vidyapeeth triumphed over Chirec International School in the U-16 Boys final.

Basketball fans saw Chirec International School clinch gold in the U-11 Boys final against Sancta Maria International School, and Rockwell International School overcame Delhi Public School in the U-18 Boys final.

Kabaddi finals at Sri Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy Stadium kept the crowd on edge, with Kendriya Vidyalaya, Gachibowli, defeating LMG Smart International School in the Girls U-17 final.

With only the closing ceremony remaining, Vignan’s Bo Tree School holds its top spot on the leaderboard, making for an exciting finish.

This year’s Hyderabad edition of the SFA Championships features over 23,000 athletes from 920 schools, competing across 22 sports. The Championships continue until October 28th, creating a platform for young athletes to showcase their talent and providing an opportunity for schools to lead the medal tally.
