New Delhi: Ahmad Shahzad, who is not in the scheme of things, has lambasted the current Pakistani team for getting whitewashed against Australia in the 3-T20I series. The Men In Green slumped to a shocking series sweep against a second-string Australian team after losing the third T20I by 7 wickets at the Bellerive Oval, Hobart on Monday, November 18.
Despite getting off to a solid start while batting first, Pakistani batters fell like a pack of cards and were bundled out for 117 in 20 overs. Babar Azam was the lone warrior for the visitors with a 41-run knock off 28 balls. Courtesy of a blistering half-century by Marcus Stoinis, Australia chased down the target of 118 in just 11.2 overs The massive difference in class and ability between the two teams was clearly visible as Mohamma Rizawan & Co outplayed in all three T20Is by a new-look Australian side.
Shahzad, who remains in the limelight for making some hard-hitting comments on his social media channels, slammed the approach of Pakistani batters and lashed out at the seniors. Shahzad, an opening batter who gained fame for his free-flowing batting, said that Pakistan batters lack the power to hit sixes and slammed the seniors by calling them a ‘baggage’ in the T20I team.
“This team needs a revamp”
This team needs a revamp, Senior players who are baggage on the team must be replaced 🚨, Getting whitewashed by this Australian side is shameful, horrible, & embarrassing to say the least. Australia chased Pakistan’s total in just 11. 2 overs. This is what modern-day cricket is.…

Stoinis blows away Pakistani bowlers
Powerful all-rounder Stoinis showed his full might by smashing a 27-ball 61 in chase of 118. The hard-hitting all-rounder punished all the top Pakistan bowlers during his brutal knock, which was studded with five sixes and five fours as Australia raced to victory in just 11.2 overs.
Australia started off the series with a 29-run win in a rain-curtailed seven-overs-a-side T20I in Brisbane, before winning the second T20I in Sydney by 13 runs courtesy of a career-best 5/26 by fast bowler Spencer Johnson.
Pakistan failed to capitalise on the momentum they gained by beating Australia 2-1 in ODIs for their first series in the 50-over format in 22 years.
