New Delhi: Stocks of RattanIndia Power, MRF, Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO), and Punjab National Bank (PNB) are expected to be in focus on May 8, 2025, Wednesday. The shares of the mentioned companies are likely to be in news as the four companies declared their Q4 Results 2024-25.

RattanIndia Power net profit nosedived to Rs 125.94 crore in January-March quarter of 2024-25. PNB’s profit surged 52% to Rs 4,567 crore in the last quarter. MRF Q4 profit increased 29 percent to Rs 512 crore. HUDCO Q4 profit surged 4 percent to Rs 728 crore.

Stock in Focus: HUDCO

In its Q4 Results of 2024-25, HUDCO’s consolidated net profit rose by 4 per cent to Rs 727.74 crore, as against Rs 700.16 crore in the year-ago period. The total income surged to Rs 2,854.91 crore, while it was Rs 2,194.04 crore in the last quarter of FY24. In a regulatory filing, the state-owned company mentioned that its net profit increased to Rs 2,709.14 crore in full financial year 2024-25, as compared to Rs 2,116.69 crore in the preceding year. The total income increased to Rs 10,348.38 crore in January-March quarter from Rs 7,948.10 crore in 2023-24.

MRF share news

MRF Ltd on Wednesday declared its January-March quarterly results of FY25 and reported 29.28 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 512.11 crore. The company’s net profit was recorded at Rs 396.11 crore in the year-ago period. The tyre making company’s revenue from operations in Q4 of 2024-25 reported at Rs 7,074.82 crore as against Rs 6,349.36 crore in the year-ago period. Total expenses increased to Rs 6,526.87 crore while it was Rs 5,915.83 crore a year ago.

For the full In fiscal year ended March 31, 2025, MRF’s consolidated net profit was recorded at Rs 1,869.29 crore as compared to Rs 2,081.23 crore in 2023-24. Revenue from operations stood at Rs 28,153.18 crore.

PNB shares to watch today

Punjab National Bank (PNB) declared a 52 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 4,567 crore in the January-March quarter of 2024-25, while the public sector lender had earned a net profit of Rs 3,010 crore in the year-ago period. The bank reported its total income at Rs 36,705 crore as against Rs 32,361 crore in the last quarter of 2023-24. The interest income increased to Rs 31,989 crore

Non-Performing Assets (NPAs) moderated to 3.95 per cent of gross advances as compared to 5.73 per cent by the end of March 2024, the bank mentioned in its regulatory filing

For the entire financial year 2024-25, the bank’s profit recorded a 100 percent jump to Rs 16,630 crore as compared to Rs 8,245 crore in the previous year. The PNB board has recommended a dividend of Rs 2.90 per equity share of face value of Rs 2 each for 2024-25 subject to approval of shareholders.

Stock in news: Rattanlndia Power

In its January-March quarter, Rattanlndia Power declared a sharp decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 125.94 crore as against Rs 10,665.75 crore net profit in the year-ago period. In a regulatory filing, the company’s total income increased to Rs 1,028.61 crore in Q4 of 2024-25 as compared to Rs 995.73 crore in the last quarter of FY24.

The company reported a PAT of Rs 124 crore for Q4 FY25, compared to Rs 3 crore in Q3 FY25 on account of higher PLF and improved coal quality. The company has reported a total income of Rs. 3,677 crore in FY25, compared to Rs 3,734 crore in FY24. The company recorded quarterly revenue from operations of Rs 936 crore in Q4 FY25, the highest in its history, reflecting robust market demand.
