New Delhi: The Sensex rose 362 points 361.75 points to close at 81,921.29, while the Nifty was up 104.70 points to 25,041.10 on Tuesday. Indian indices will look out for the effects of a decline in oil prices below the $70 per barrel price target for the first time since December 2021. Here are stocks that are likely to remain in focus on Wednesday, September 11, 2024:

Axis Bank: The lender was penalised by RBI for being in non-compliance with rules related to interest rates, KYC and collateral-free farm loans.

Dixon Tech: Anti-competition watchdog CCI approved Dixon Technologies’ proposal to buy a stake in Aditya Infotech.

Godrej properties: The company raised Rs 64.6 crore via non-convertible debenture issuance on a private placement basis.

HDFC Bank: The lender was fined Rs 1 crore for being in non-compliance with RBI’s rules for interest offered on deposits, recovery agents, and customer service.

IndiGo: The airline’s penalty of Rs 1.20 crore was slashed to Rs 70 lakh by the Bureau of Civil Aviation Safety, according to an exchange filing.

Infosys: The homegrown IT giant said it had partnered with Belgium-based Proximus Group, which provides digital services and communication solutions to unlock new business opportunities.

IREDA: The company’s global finance arm received provisional recognition from International the Financial Services Centre Authority.

Maruti Suzuki India: The carmaker announced plans to significantly increase car exports by 2030, said MD and CEO Hisashi Takeuchi.

Oil marketing companies: Stocks of oil companies may remain in focus on Wednesday after Brent crude prices slipped below the $70 per barrel mark for the first time since December 2021.

ONGC: The company’s overseas unit OVL, OIL India and Khanij Bidesh inked an agreement for cooperation in a critical mineral supply chain with UAE-based IRH.

Reliance Industries: The oil to retail conglomerate set September 20, 2024, as the last date to pay call money for shares purchased on a partly paid-up basis. Failure to do so may result in ineligibility for bonus shares, the company said.

Shriram Finance:  is mulling listing its insurance arms in “a year or two” from now, a top official said on Tuesday. Umesh Revankar, the executive vice-chairman of Shriram Finance, said that both companies are doing very well and the retail lending-focused company will look at listing them after the businesses achieve a certain scale.

SpiceJet: The airline said its investor Carlyle Aviation plans to convert its aircraft lease arrears amounting to $40.17 million into equity, resulting in a pending lease write-off.

Tata Motors: The CCI gave its nod for the merger of Tat Motors Finance with Tata Capital. Both entities are NBFC – Investment and Credit Companies. The company also announced a price cut on its EV portfolio.

Vodafone Idea: Aditya Birla Group chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla pruchased 1.68 crore shares of the telco on September 6, 2024, according to official data.
