Subhadra Yojana in Odisha: Eligibility, how to get form and apply online, offline

Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a women-centric scheme, ‘SUBHADRA’, on Tuesday. The flagship scheme of the government of Odisha, is expected to cover more than 1 crore women.

All eligible beneficiaries between the age of 21-60 years would receive Rs 50,000/- over a period of 5 years between 2024-25 to 2028-29. The beneficiary will get an amount of Rs 10,000/- per annum in two equal instalments. The money will be credited to the beneficiary’s Aadhaar-enabled and DBT-enabled bank account.

One can collect the Subhadra Yojana Application Form at Anganwadi Centres, Urban Local Body Offices, Block Offices, Common Service Centres and Mo Seva Kendras. The applicants can download forms online through the SUBHADRA portal.

The applicants are required to submit the fillled form at the nearest Mo Seba Kendra / Common Service Centre. The applicants can submit their applications online through the SUBHADRA portal and also upload the necessary documents.

Subhadra Yojana Eligibility criteria

The applicants applying for Subhadra Yojana should be covered under the National Food Security Act (NFSA) / State Food Security Scheme (SFSS). 
If an applicant doesn’t possess an NFSA or SFSS Card, she can apply if her family income is not more than Rs 2.50 lakh.
The applicant should be 21 years or more and less than 60 years as on the qualifying date. The date of birth mentioned in the Aadhaar card would be considered for the calculation.
For 2024-25, the applicant should be 21 years or more and less than 60 years, as on July 1, 2024. For 2024-25, if a woman applying for Subhadra scheme attains the age of 21 years after 1st July 2024, she will be entitled to receive Rs 10,000 per year, only for the remaining years of the scheme period. 
In 2024-25, women who complete 60 years of age after July 1, will not receive the benefits for the remaining years of the yojana period.
The applicants of Subhadra Yojana should note that if a woman is getting financial assistance, like scholarship, pension, etc. of Rs 1500 per month or more or Rs 18,000 per annum or more under any government scheme (both state and central), will become ineligible.

Documents needed for SUBHADRA

Eligible women must possess an Aadhaar card.
The applicant’s mobile number should be linked with the Aadhaar card.
The woman should have a single bank account that is Aadhaar-enabled and DBT-enabled.
If the applicant does not have an Aadhaar number or does not have a single-holder Aadhaar-enabled & DBT-enabled bank account, she would be allowed to enroll for Aadhaar and also open a bank account.
