Telangana Anti-Narcotic Bureau in a joint operation with Cyberabad Police SOT and Rajendranagar on Monday found that 2.6 kgs of Cocaine was being brought to Hyderabad for sale.
The department identified 13 potential high society customers of cocaine and one among them is actress Rakul Preet Singh’s brother Aman Preet Singh, Tv9 telugu reported. The 13 names include Aman Preet Singh, Kishan Rathi, Aniketh, Yashwanth, Rohith, Sri Charan, Raghu, Prasad, Hemanth, Nikhil, Madhu, Krishnam Raju, Venkat.
Aman Preet Singh along with four others who tested positive, were sent to hospital for further testing and have not been arrested yet.
Avinash Mohanty, Cyberabad Police Commissioner confirmed that Aman Preet Singh was one among the customers. Two Nigerian sellers and three other local sellers were arrested in a raid on a flat in Hydershakote in Narsingi area. Two local sellers are from Vizag, Amalapuram and another hails from Bandlaguda, Telangana.
The kingpin of the gang Divine Ebuka may have left for Nigeria and is operating the drug syndicate through the above mentioned drug dealers. He sends his main associate Onuoha Blessing to Delhi to transport drugs to Hyderabad and other cities. She has brought drugs to Hyderabad more than twenty times, as per police.
Previously, Rakul Preet Singh was summoned by Enforcement Directorate in a drugs-related money laundering case. Other members of Telugu film industry were also questioned in relation to the 2017 drugs case.
