Toddy & Wine shops, including bars in restaurants (excluding bars in star hotels and registered clubs) will remain closed from 6 am on July 28 to 6 am on July 29 for Bonalu festival celebrations.
Meanwhile, Hyderabad Traffic Police issued an advisory for diversions on July 28, 29 for Simhavahini Mahankali Lal Darwaza Bonalu procession and elephant procession.
Diverted routes on July 28, 29:
As per the advisory, traffic will not be allowed from Nehru Statue Lal Darwaza towards Simha Vahini Sri Mahankali Lal Darwaza temple road between 4 pm and 11 pm on July 28.
The traffic from Himmatpura and Shamshergunj will not be allowed towards Lal Darwaza and it will be diverted at Nagulchintha towards Gowlipura, Sudha talkies.
Traffic from Chandrayangutta/Knadikalgate and Uppuguda will not be allowed towards laldarwaza and will be diverted at Chatrinaka towards Gowlipura, Nagulchintha.
On July 29, traffic diversions will be in place between 11 am and 11 pm and traffic coming from MBNR X Road will not be allowed towards Lal Darwaza temple and it will be diverted at Engine Bowli towards Jahanuma, Goshala, Tadban or Goshala Misri Gunj and Khilwaith. The traffic coming from Engine Bowli will be diverted at Shamsheergunj.
Traffic from Pancha Mohalla (Charminar) will not be allowed towards Nagulchintha. It will be will diverted towards Hari Bowli, Olga Hotel and Misrigunj.
Traffic from Khilwaith/Moosabowli will not be allowed towards Laad Bazaar and it will be diverted at Motigalli T Junction towards Khilwat Play ground or Moosa Bowli. The traffic coming from khilwaith play ground will not be allowed towards Himmathpura and it will be diverted at Olga Junction towards Fateh Darwaza, Misrigunj.
