UFC 304: Tom Aspinall vs Curtis Blaydes 2 winner to fight next for the Heavyweight title

New Delhi: The co-main event of UFC 304 will be the heavyweight bout between Tom Aspinall vs Curtis Blaydes for the Interm Heavyweight title at UFC 304 in Manchester, England on July 28, Sunday. The stakes couldn’t be higher for Aspinall vs Blaydes 2 as the winner will absolutely be next for the UFC Heavyweight title.

Aspinall is the UFC Interm Heavyweight champion will be defending his title for the first time against Blaydes. Aspinall is the no.1 in the Heavyweight rankings but he is fighting against Blaydes who is the No. 4 ranked, Aspinall chose Blaydes because, in the first bout between them, Blaydes knocked out Aspinall in the first round.

In the UFC 304 press conference when a reporter asked ‘Will the winner of Saturday’s co-main event will face the Jones vs Miocic winner?’ Dana replied “Absolutely,” Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic will fight for the Heavyweight title later in the year as Jones is hinting at retirement.

“Curtis, the guy’s good everywhere,” Aspinall said. “I’m not underestimating this guy. This guy’s f*cking good” Aspinall said in the press conference.

“This is the fight between the two best heavyweights in the world — me and [Curtis Blaydes]. This guy is f*cking legit.” Aspinall added.

Aspinall wanted to revenge his first loss against Blaydes in front of his home fans, he is currently on a two-fight win streak and both the fights have been won in the first round by knock-out, while Blaydes will put a kind of pressure on Aspinall as he won the previous fight between them and also Aspinall is coming into the fight as the heavy favorite in front of his home fans.
