New Delhi: Sean Brady outclassed Gilbert Burns at the main event of UFC Fight Night at Apex Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, September 8. This was one of the major wins in the UFC for Brady, it was the proper dominance from Brady as he won the bout by unanimous decision. Brady almost finished Burns one last run for the title, and now Burns is on three back-to-back losses in the UFC.
Brady was all over on Burns in the fight, Brady attacked Burns with some clean shots in all rounds. Everybody thought that in the five-rounder fight, Burns would have the advantage but Brady showed his class and beat him in all the rounds. Brady was also good with his grappling skills as he took down the Brazilian couple of times on the ground.
Brady was well-prepared to come into the fight, he was closing the distance in the fight and whenever Burns attacked him he immediately went for his grappling skills and gave no chance to Burns in the fight. Brady is now coming closer to a title shot as Brady’s only loss in the UFC was against UFC Welterweight Champion Belal Muhammad.
After the win, Brady called out Ian Machido Garry and said he wanted to fight against a top 5 ranked fighter and then he would go for his title shot. Before this fight, Brady was no. 8 ranked fighter in the welterweight division but after this dominant victory, he will come close to the top 5.
