1. Sakshi Malik

The former freestyle wrestler won the Bronze medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics in the 58 kg category. She was the first female wrestler from India to win an Olympic medal. She was honoured with Padma Shri in 2017 and is one of the greatest wrestlers this country has ever seen.

2. Bajrang Punia

The freestyle wrestler competes in the 65-kg weight category and won the Bronze medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics by defeating Daulet Niyazbekov of Kazakhstan. Notably, he is the lone Indian wrestler to date who has bagged four medals at the World Wrestling Championships.

3. Sanjay Kumar

The former freestyle wrestler had won the Commonwealth Wrestling Championships twice and was the runner-up in the South Asian Games in 1989. Also, he represented India in both the junior and the senior World Wrestling Championships.

4. Vinesh Phogat

The former professional freestyle wrestler won the Gold medal in the Commonwealth Games in 2014, 2018, and 2022 and was also the first woman wrestler in our country to win a gold medal at the Commonwealth and Asian Games, following her Gold medal win in the 2018 Asian Games.
