New Delhi: Batting stalwart Virat Kohli has joined his franchise Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) two days ahead of the resumption of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. On Thursday, video of Kohli spotted in the RCB jersey in Bengaluru went viral on social media as the senior batter made his way to join the rest of the teammates.
Kohli recently announced his retirement from the Test format and with the IPL being suspended for almost 10 days, from May 7 to May 17, the legendary cricketer joined his family in Mumbai to spend some quality time with his wife and kids. During the break time, Kohli did not stay at home but just a day after bidding adieu to the whites, the star cricketer, alongside wife Anushka Sharma, was spotted in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh for a spiritual trip.
Meanwhile, Kohli arrived in Bengaluru on May 15, to support the franchise as he was seen in the team hotel in the city donning the jersey. Kohli would be eager to make a mark in his first IPL game post announcing his retirement from the longest format of cricket.
