New Delhi: Team India star batter Virat Kohli landed in Chennai from London to join the rest of the squad members for a pre-season camp ahead of the two-match Test series against Bangladesh.
He landed at the Chennai International Airport around 4 AM on Friday. Security was tight when he landed in Chennai as there were fans at the airport to catch a glimpse of the star batter. Kohli flew to London after winning the T20 World Cup 2024 and has spent most of his time in London with wife Anushka and two kids.
He played in the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka but again went back as there was a long gap between the ODI series and the next Test series. Kohli last played a Test match for India during the series against South Africa. He missed the five-match home Test series against England due to the birth of his son Akaay.
