New Delhi: Double Olympic medalist Manu Bhaker received a hero’s welcome at the Delhi airport after landing in the country following a historic performance at the Paris 2024 Olympics. Bhaker, accompanied by her coach Jaspal Rana, showed her medal to the massive crowd gathered outside to welcome the Olympic medallist.

Bhaker won bronze medals in Women’s 10m Air Pistol & the 10m Air Pistol Mixed team event. She missed out on the chance of clinching a historic third medal at the Olympics, finishing fourth in the women’s 25m pistol event.

Nonetheless, she scripted history by becoming the first Indian athlete after post-independence to win two medals in a single edition of the Olympics.

Bhaker, along with her coach Rana, arrived in Delhi on Wednesday morning amidst massive fanfare.
