The iconic footballer dictated play and teed up his former Barcelona teammate, Luis Suarez, for Inter Miami’s second, before celebrating the third goal, netted by the Uruguayan striker, to effectively put the game to bed.
However, fans were treated to another Messi special in the dying stages. The Argentine legend put the cherry on top of an impressive 4-2 victory by finishing a delightful move that started with a one-two with Suarez on the edge of the penalty area. The move ended with a magnificent dink over the onrushing goalkeeper.

Despite the clinical win, Inter Miami are sixth in the Eastern Conference, way down in the pecking order in pursuit of a historic MLS Cup crown. After facing off against Columbus in the MLS on Saturday, Inter Miami will shift their focus to the FIFA Club World Cup.
