This friendly was being hosted in aid of the MU Foundation, building on the success of the previous Legends encounter, which saw United raise an amazing £1.3 million for charity against Liverpool.

He made the perfect impact by scoring a beautiful free kick from 25 yards to mark his return to Old Trafford.
