New Delhi: The former UFC Middleweight champion Israel Adesanya is ready to fight in the UFC Fight Night after seven years. Last time Adesanya fought against Marvin Vettori in the UFC Fight Night in 2018. He will take on Nassourdine Imavov in the UFC Riyadh event on February 2, Sunday.

It will also be more than five years since The Last Style bender fought in a non-title fight in the UFC. For the first time in his career, Adesanya suffered two back-to-back losses in the UFC and now will be looking to make a strong comeback in the octagon against Imavov.

Adesanya is currently the number two ranked fighter in the middleweight division while Imavov is the number five ranked fighter. The french fighter is currently undefeated in his last four fights and lost against only Sean Strickland in his last eight fights.

The Style bender will again look to go for the title run by beating the number five ranked fighter. He lost the two title fights in his last two bouts and both losses came against different fighters where he came as a massive favorite in the fights.

Imavov will also have a great opportunity to give a tough time to the number two-ranked fighter and become the next in line for the Middleweight championship.

UFC Middleweight champion Dricus Du Plessis will be in action just after the UFC Riyadh event as he will defend his title against Sean Strickland at UFC 312 event on February 9, Sunday. The initial days of February will decide the fate of the middleweight division as two big fights will take place in the division.
