Washington: Tesla CEO Elon Musk endorsed former US President Donald Trump in a candid two-hour long interview on Monday, August 12 at 5:30 am IST. However, the interview initially was hit by a ‘cyber attack’ due to which the interview was delayed for over 30 minutes. The interview was conducted on X’s audio livestreaming feature called Spaces which over a million users joined.
The tech snag was rectified later as users could tune in to the interview on X. A ‘Space’ for Trump’s conversation with Musk was created but many users got a ‘This Space is not available’ message.
The world’s richest man endorsed Trump on a series of topics including the assassination attempt on Trump last month in Pennsylvania, the US economy and the rising global threat.

Trump Discusses Assassination Attempt:
Speaking on last month’s assassination attempt, Trump said, “I’m a believer, now. I’m more of a believer in God, I think.” He added that when the shot was fired, he immediately knew that it was a bullet that struck his ear.
Recounting the Pennsylvania rally shooting, Trump revealed that the Secret Service sniper was unaware of the close call, adding, “I’ve got to take my hat off to him,” about the sniper’s response during the attempt on his life by Thomas Matthew Crooks.

Launching a scathing attack at his rival, Democratic nominee Kamala Harris, Trump said, “Everything I did, she is doing it,” further labelling her as fake, claiming that the number of illegal immigrants crossing the border has increased under her watch. Estimating the immigrant count, Trump said that “it would be around 50-60 million people,” from different regions including Africa and Asia.
“The world cannot empty its prisoners into the US,” he said.
Furthermore, he took a dig at US President Joe Biden by calling him the “worst president” ever who “failed miserably.”
He also blamed Biden for the Ukraine invasion and Hamas’ attack on Israel, saying “When I was president, Iran knew not to mess around. Iran was broke — they had no money for terror. Israel never would’ve been attacked (by Hamas).”

Slamming the Biden administration, Trump said, “The economy is a disaster with inflation… Four years ago, people were saving a lot of money. Today they’re using all their money and borrowing money just to live.”
He also attacked Kamala Harris and said, “We don’t have a president right now – and Kamala is even worse. She’s a San Francisco liberal who destroyed that city, destroyed California, and will destroy our country if she’s elected.”

People want the American Dream back more than anything else. You don’t have that today because the people running our country just suck – they’re incompetent people,” said Trump. He proposed to bring back the American Dream saying, “I want the people to wake up and go to jobs they love.”

Speaking further in the interview, Trump thanked Musk for his endorsement saying, “Your endorsement means a lot me.”
Musk, who was a long-time Democrat responded by saying, “It is really essential that you win for the good of the country.”

In his much-awaited interview with Elon Musk, Donald Trump highlighted ‘nuclear warming’ as the biggest threat in the world, one which is bigger than global warming.
