New Delhi: WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther has already booked his match at WrestleMania 41 as Royal Rumble 2025 winner Jey Uso challenged Gunther for the World Heavyweight title at the main event of WrestleMania 41.
Gunther warned Jey to not pick him but Jey chose Gunther instead of Cody Rhodes for the WrestleMania 41 match. After Jey picked Gunther the champion warned him that he would make his life hell at the grandest stage.
The champion is not at all interested in fighting against Jey at the WrestleMania. He wants to fight somebody who is one step ahead of him as Jey will not make difficulty for the champion.
“I think the Rumble was packed like never before. With Jey, there was basically the underdog winning in all of this. But also, on the other hand, he’s maybe the most popular guy we have right now, and people would really want to see him succeed. And they’re strapped in to follow him along this whole ride to WrestleMania now.” Gunther stated.
Gunther acknowledges the continuous popularity and growth of Jey in the WWE and it’s an achievement for him to win the Royal Rumble 2025, where many top stars participated but he came on top at the end of the night.
Confirmed superstars for Elimination Chamber 2025
After John Cena announced his participation in the Elimination Chamber 2025 match, the hype increased for the match and WWE announced whoever wins the Elimination Chamber, he will be getting a shot at the WWE title in WrestleMania.
CM Punk was the first superstar who won his qualifying Elimination Chamber match. After Punk, Drew McIntyre won a triple threat match to qualify for the event.
Seth Rollins, Damian Priest, and Logan Paul will join Cena, Punk and McIntyre in the Elimination Chamber 2025. This will be last Elimination Chamber match for Cena and he is chasing his 17th title dream in WWE.
