New Delhi: The United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura will be in action in the Elimination Chamber 2025 as he will be defending his title against LA Knight in a singles match.
In the last Smackdown episode, LA Knight and R-Truth were fighting against The Miz and Carmelo Hayes in a Tag-team match. The Miza and Hayes picked up the victory and teased them.
After the match, Nakamura entered the ring and attacked R-Truth. In the previous episode, Knight earned a shot at the US title as he defeated The Miz but after yesterday’s interference by Nakamura, WWE confirmed the match for Elimination Chamber 2025.
Nakamura won the title at Survivor Series in 2024 and snatched the championship from Knight. After that Nakamura defended his title successfully a couple of times.
Will Nakamura defend his title before going to WrestleMania 41 or Knight will be able to get back his title back and set a showdown at WrestleMania 41 against Nakamura.
The Undisputed Tag team titles will be on the line as well as The Judgement Day will be defending their championship against New Catch Republic.
WrestleMania 42 location and date confirmed
The Rock made his return to the Smackdown episode and unveiled the WrestleMania 42 location and dates. WrestleMania 42 will be held at the Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana on April 12 and 13 2026.
The Rock also confronted the WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes and told his plans to become WWE champion again. The Rock wants to challenge Roman Reigns for the title and also discussed this plan with Triple H.
Rhodes was confused in the middle of the ring but Rock gave him a warning to meet him in the Elimination Chamber 2025.
The Rock will be in the arena for the main event where six wrestlers will be locked in the cage and the winner will get a title shot at the WWE Undisputed Championship.
