New Delhi: A WWE superstar has dropped a social media comment that has raised speculations regarding her return for one more match. She has been the leading wrestler in the WWE women’s category for years.
The former six-time WWE Women’s Champion recently made her comeback to the company in a different role and has been spotted in attendance for many WWE shows. Mickie James recently became part of the new series titled (WWE LFG) along with Bully Ray, Booker T and The Undertaker.
She has not stepped inside the ring for many years but a comment might have ignited speculation about her potential return and she might make a comeback against a former two-time WWE NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez.
What did Mickie James say that led to speculations of her return to a WWE ring?
During an interview with No Contest Wrestling, the new Iron Woman of the Royal Rumble and top NXT star, Roxanne Perez was asked about the legends she would love to fight inside the ring and she dropped five names as her dream opponents which include Trish Stratus, Lita, Chyna, AJ Lee and Mickie James.
After that, she was asked about the matches that could happen in WWE today which led the former two-time WWE NXT Women’s Champion to name two opponents, Mickie James and Trish Stratus. Her remarks caught the attention of Mickie James and she reposted the video on her X account and replied “You gonna make me dust off my working boots @roxanne_wwe”. Her response hinted at her possible comeback to the ring.

Her response was enough for the fans to speculate about her return to the ring under the WWE. The former Champion last wrestled in TNA wrestling before taking a break from the ring with no news of her comeback. However, if she makes a comeback, it could be a big match against Roxanne Perez.
