10 people die in four road accidents in Andhra Pradesh

Around ten people died in four separate accidents in various areas of Andhra Pradesh on Monday morning, reports said.

The deceased include a Telangana district judge Mohan Rao, who died on the spot along with his driver when the car he was traveling in rammed into a bus stop in Ramavaram village, Jaggampet mandal, Kakinada.

Four people were killed and two were injured in a road accident in Chandragiri mandal, Tirupati district. The car in which they were traveling hit a divider on the national highway near Kongaravaripalle. Two were injured when their car crashed into the divider and caught fire at Mallavaram.

Four others died when their car collided with a lorry in Bapulapadu mandal, Krishna district. The deceased include Swaminathan, 35, Rakesh, 12, Radha Priya, 14, Gopi 31.

In another freak accident, Constable Sunil Babu died in Guntur district on the main road in front of Udaya Hospital near Guntur Inner Ring Road at 4 am on Monday morning.

Meanwhile, TDP chief and ex-chief minister Chandrababu Naidu expressed profound shock over the accidents in the state. He also demanded financial assistance from the state government for the kin of deceased.
