His consistency on the right flank helped Spain threaten the opposition’s defences constantly. The Barcelona winger has become the youngest player to lift the UEFA Euro title. Lamine Yamal, who had just turned 17 the day before the final, made a significant impact at Euro 2024. For Euro 2024, UEFA’s technical observers, including experts such as Fabio Capello, Rafael Benítez, Frank de Boer, and Ole Gunnar Solskjær, selected the winner. Although Lamine Yamal was a strong favourite, it was Rodri’s consistent and dominant performances that impressed the judges the most. Rodri was a key figure in Spain’s midfield, providing stability and scoring crucial goals. Dani Olmo also shone with his creativity and goal-scoring ability for Spain, while England’s standout players made UEFA’s final decision even more challenging.

Dani Olmo emerged as a surprising X-factor for the Spaniards in the UEFA Euro 2024. Pedri was sidelined for the rest of the Euros after Toni Kroos challenged him in a harsh tackle during the quarter-final.
