New Delhi: Jake Paul has defeated legendary Mike Tyson by unanimous decision at AT&T Stadium in Texas. Although there were some doubts about Paul’s victory and some took offence with the decision being labelled as ‘unanimous’.

Mike showed some glimpses of his former self in the initial rounds but Paul made a strong comeback in the third round and was on the front foot for the rest of the fight and landed a few big blows.

Who will Jake Paul fight next?
Before even facing Mike Tyson, it was reported that Paul had already identified his next opponent, though in a different sport. He signed a contract with the MMA promotion Professional Fighters League in January 2023 and offered a two-fight deal to Nate Diaz.
PFL CEO Peter Murray in an interview said that Paul is ready to make a switch from boxing to MMA for his next fight and he’s committed to facing real legitimate fighter. Earlier, Paul also hinted that he was ready to try a different sport. Paul said that he can beat Nate Diaz in his first MMA fight. He further added that he don’t want to go into something where he’s going to be outclassed.
“It’s just about finding the name. We have the money, we’re ready to go, we’re ready to make offers to people but they just have to be able to draw sales. So, I think I can beat Nate Diaz in my first MMA fight, it would be tough of course. It’s a 50/50 fight but I don’t want to go into something where I’m going to be outclassed like fighting Khabib Nurmagomedov in my first fight” Paul said.
Paul also sent a message to Canelo after his victory over Tyson and said that Canelo needs him. “I’m not even gonna call him out. He knows he wants a payday and he knows where the money man’s at” Jake Paul said.
