Andhra Pradesh: Chandrababu Naidu to take oath as CM today

Nara Chandrababu Naidu will take oath as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for the fourth time on Wednesday, June 12 at 11.27 am.

Prime Minister Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, many Union Ministers, CMs of various states, leading actors Chiranjeevi, Rajinikanth will attend the ceremony, reports said.

11.18 acres have been prepared for the meeting in Kesarapalli, Gannavaram Mandal and LED screens have been installed in 36 galleries. Four galleries have been specially prepared for VIPs.

Security strengthened:

As VVIP guests are set to descend on to Krishna district, security has been stepped up. About 10,000 security personnel have been deployed out of which 3,000 policemen have been assigned to Vijayawada.

Security duties have been assigned to 7,000 personnel inside and outside the Gannavaram airport, surrounding areas, Kesarapalli meeting premises. More than 60 IPS officers have been appointed. Special BT roads have been assigned so that the convoy of VVIPs can reach the venue directly.

Traffic restrictions imposed:

Traffic restrictions have been imposed on Vijayawada National Highways and police diverted traffic at five places on Chennai-Visakhapatnam, Visakhapatnam-Hyderabad and Vijayawada-Bhimavaram routes.

Vehicles coming and going from Visakhapatnam to Chennai were diverted from Kathipudi towards Ongole. In this first diversion, vehicles from Nandigama, Vaira, Satthupalli, Jangareddygudem, Devarapalli and Gammon Bridge will be diverted towards Visakhapatnam.

Route No. 2 Chennai to Visakhapatnam:

Vehicles coming from Ongole will be diverted towards Vizag via Raypalle, Machilipatnam, Narasapuram, Amalapuram, Kakinada, Kathipudi. Also, vehicles from Budampadu will be diverted towards Visakha via Tenali, Puligadda, Machilipatnam, Narasapuram, Kakinada and Kathipudi.

Vehicles from Visakhapatnam to Hyderabad:

Vehicles from Rajahmundry are being diverted via Ramavarappadu, Mylavaram, Nujiveedu, Hanuman Junction, Eluru Bypass and are being diverted towards Hyderabad via Gaman Bridge, Devarapalli, Jangareddygudem, Ashwaravpet, Khammam.
