New Delhi: Indian fast bowler Arshdeep Singh has revealed his mantra of fast bowling ahead of the third T20I match against South Africa. The Men in Blue and Proteas lock horns in the third ODI of the four-game series in Centurion on November 12. Arshdeep, at just 25 years of age, has gained greatness in the shortest format joining the ranks of T20I greats in bowling.
The left-arm pacer is just few miles away from setting a new record for most wickets by an Indian bowler in the format. Arshdeep has clinched 89 wickets from 58 matches at an impressive average of 18. Speaking to the media ahead of third T20I encounter, the pacer revealed his mantra saying that he credited his success to maintaining a very vivid mind and picking up things from the best in the Indian dressing room.

The bowler, who is from Punjab, paid a huge credit to Jasprit Bumrah, saying that he has a superb bowling partner in him and he has picked up a lot from him. He also highlighted his adaptability to varied conditions and game situations which has made him what he’s today. He further said that he enjoys his present and just have fun on and off the field.
Crediting his Team India mates, Arshdeep said that he loves playing along with some legends of the game and picks tit bits from them regarding metal and physical preparation. This is how he has grown his game. The pacer, however, was not able to showcase his class to a major extent as he picked just two wickets in both the T20Is against Proteas till now. In the remaining two matches, he holds a chance to get back on track and elevate his wicket-taking record.
