Burj Khalifa lights up to mark India vs Pakistan battle in women’s T20 WC – Watch

New Delhi: It will be battle of the fittest when India and Pakistan lock horns in the women’s T20 World Cup 2024 match in Dubai on Sunday. The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side would be aiming for a win especially after a poor start to their campaign in the showpiece event. India suffered a heavy defeat against New Zealand in their opening match of the World Cup.

Meanwhile, Pakistan will be riding high on confidence after kicking off their campaign with a win in their opening contest. Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka convincingly in their first encounter, with the Women in Green displaying some real good cricket. India won their last battle against Pakistan dominantly when both the sides faced on in the Asia Cup 2024.

Ahead of the fierce battle between the two in the magical city of Dubai, the iconic Burj Khalifa lit up to mark the most-awaited battle of the T20 World Cup. The national flags of both countries were displayed on the world’s tallest building to mark the epic rivalry between both nations, along with the pictures of both the captains. The India eves would have to regroup and stand tall to win the most crucial encounter for them in the showpiece event. After losing the first match against the Kiwis, it is imperative for Team India to win all the group battles ahead to grab the opportunity of getting into the knockouts.
