La Liga leaders stumbled to a controversial 1-0 defeat at Real Sociedad, ending their seven-match winning streak in all competitions. The match was marked by VAR controversy, as Robert Lewandowski’s 13th minute goal was disallowed. In Bundesliga, Bayern Munich claimed a narrow 1-0 win over St. Pauli thanks to Jamal Musiala’s exceptional 30-meter strike in the 22nd minute. St. Pauli attempted to disrupt Bayern’s rhythm from the start managing to restrict their opportunities. Despite Bayern’s dominance in possession St. Pauli’s defensive resilience limited the champions’ chances. Munich increased their intensity in the second half though St. Pauli kept them largely at bay, conceding few opportunities apart from a header by Harry Kane.
Leroy Sane came close late in the game, firing two long-range efforts that forced saves from goalkeeper Nikola Vasilj. Bayern extended their lead at the top of the table by five points, while St. Pauli remains 15th.
Elsewhere, 10-man Borussia Dortmund fell 3-1 to Mainz after Emre Can’s early red card led to Dortmund’s fourth loss of the season. Bayer Leverkusen’s winless streak continued as Koji Miyoshi’s late goal saw Bochum secure a 1-1 draw. In other results, Werder Bremen edged Holstein Kiel 2-1, while Borussia Monchengladbach held RB Leipzig to a scoreless draw. In Italy, Roma sacked Ivan Juric just after 12 matches in charge. He was appointed as the club’s second head coach after club legend Daniele De Rossi was sacked. Juric got sacked after the side’s 3-2 home defeat by Bologna which marked their fourth loss in the last five league games. Serie A leaders Napoli playde a 1-1 draw with defending champions Inter Milan at the San Siro to leave four teams levelled at 25 points.
Scott McTrminay put Napoli ahead in the 23rd minute but Hakan Calhanoglu equalized before the break with a swerving long-distance effort. In the second half Calhanoglu missed the opportunity of adding to the scoresheet as he missed a penalty kick.
Elsewhere, Atalanta beat Udinese 2-1 with a deciding own goal from Isaak Toure, Fiorentina beat Hellas Verona 3-1 with a hat-trick from Moise Kean while Lazio beat Monza 1-0 with an early goal from Mattia Zaccagni.

In Ligue 1, PSG kept their winning streak on going as they beat Angers 4-2. They are leading the standings with 29 points. Luis Enrique side scored all the goals in the first half of the game. Lee registered the first two before Asensio set up Barcola for the third before Lee turned in the extra time to assist striker to head home his 10th goal of the season. Angers struggled whole match to cope with PSG’s attacking threat but they do managed to fond the net twice in the final minutes of the match.
In another fixture Nantes have reacted with deep resentment after Wales international Sorba Thomas was subjected to racial abuse on social media. Thomas came as a late substitute in 3-2 defeat at Lens before being replaced in the 84th minute. He has scored one goal in 11 appearances this season for Nantes.
In another fixture, Nice played a 2-2 draw with LOSC, Remis defeated Le Havre 3-0 and Montpellier beat Brest 3-1.
